2.4 Connecting the SPA to the power supply
WARNING
• Observe the regional regulations (if in doubt, please contact your electricity supply company or your qualified electrical contractor).
• The connection to the power supply requires a permanent connection to its own power group that is
not shared with any other appliances. This power group must be fitted with a 16A fuse and the circuit must have an RCD (30 mA).
• Do not connect the SPA to the power supply if it is not filled with water.
CAUTION This SPA is equipped with a plug fitted with a residual current device or ground fault circuit interrupter (RCD/GFCI). In the event of a
leakage current, the power supply is automatically interrupted to protect you from an electric shock.
To ensure that the device is working properly, perform the following test sequence:
1. Insert the plug directly into the fixed power socket.
2. Press the “RESET” button; the operating indicator LED should now come on.
3. Press the “TEST” button; the operating indicator LED should now go off.
4. Press the “RESET” button to use the device.
Do not use the device if the above testing sequence has failed. If that happens, switch off the device and contact the manufacturer or a
professional electrical contractor.
• The plug must be pulled out of the socket to disconnect the device from the power supply.
• The ambient operating temperature must be between –25°C and +40°C.
• The device must not be used in the vicinity of a strong magnetic field.
• The device must not be dropped or exposed to damp.
• Ask for advice from the manufacturer or a professional electrical contractor if the device triggers a fault or the test
sequence no longer functions properly..
Caution! The use of a plug fitted with an RCD is not a substitute for basic electrical safety requirements and a properly installed power
supply.

Operation
3.1 Before using the SPA for the first time
Before using the SPA for the first time make sure that:
• there is sufficient water in the SPA
• nothing can block the flow of water in the pipes.
3.2 Control panel
On/off button for the filter system.
Press this button and the filter pump starts working and the red indicator LED lights up. Press the button again and the pump will stop wor-
king and the LED will go off.
After a total filtration time of 168 hours the letters “FC” will appear on the display accompanied by a warning tone. Although the control light
for the filter operation is still lit, the filter pump is switched off. The heater is also switched off.
The “FC” display and the warning tone are there to remind you to change the filter cartridge.
Only by pressing the ‘FILTER’ button will the control lamp for the filter operation go out and the warning (“FC” on the display and the warning
tone) switch off again. All buttons then return to their normal working status and the current water temperature is displayed.
