What to do if my Unique UGP-290L Refrigerator is running, but the inside is not cold?
    • R
      Richard HamiltonAug 2, 2025
If your Unique Refrigerator is running but not cooling, allow it at least 4 hours to cool down after turning it on. Make sure the thermostat control knob is set correctly for the room temperature. Check that the room temperature isn't too close to or exceeding 100°F (38°C). If you've recently added a lot of warm food, give the appliance time to adjust. Ensure the cabinet has enough ventilation around its side walls for proper heat transfer. Refer to the Installation section for ventilation guidelines.

Why is there excessive frost and ice buildup in my Unique UGP-290L?
    • J
      John HuynhAug 7, 2025
Excessive frost and ice buildup in your Unique Refrigerator can occur for several reasons. Hot and humid weather increases frost buildup. Ensure food is properly packaged. Check that the door is fully closed with a good seal, and nothing is blocking it. Large amounts of food recently placed inside, or frequent door openings, can also contribute. Ensure you're performing proper care and maintenance, including cleaning and defrosting.

Why is my Unique Refrigerator connected to power but not operating?
    • M
      Matthew YoungAug 14, 2025
If your Unique Refrigerator isn't operating despite being connected to power, there might be several reasons. First, check if 12V or 24V DC is present at the appliance. If not, verify all connections and the system battery voltage. Ensure that the polarity is correct, with positive (+) connected to positive (+) and negative (-) to negative (-). Also, inspect the fuse and replace it if it's blown (see page 9 for details). A common issue is voltage drop to the compressor due to loose connections or inadequate wire size, leading to a 'low voltage' start-up failure.

How to open a stuck door on my Unique UGP-290L Refrigerator?
    • S
      Shawn NunezAug 20, 2025
If the door of your Unique Refrigerator won't open, it might be due to air pressure differences. If the door has just been opened, wait a few minutes to allow the air pressure to equalize before trying again.

What to do if the light in my Unique UGP-290L Refrigerator doesn't work?

      Daniel HamptonAug 26, 2025
