What to do if United States Stove doesn't start a fire?

  If your United States Stove doesn't ignite when you press the 'ON' button, turn the stove off, then clear any unburned fuel from the burnpot and try starting it again. Make sure to check the pellet quality and replace them if they seem moist, wet, or dirty. Ensure there isn't a loss of draft pressure by checking that the viewing door is sealed properly (adjust the door catch or replace the gaskets if needed), that outside connections are free of obstructions, and that the exhaust system is clean. Also, check that the auto-start igniter isn't blocked by ash or soot and that the pressure switch connection to the firebox is clear. If the igniter isn't glowing red during start-up, it may need replacing, or there could be an electrical control system issue.

Why does my United States Stove fire go out?

  Your United States Stove fire might be going out because the burnpot is running out of fuel, so refill the hopper. Another reason could be a loss of draft pressure. To resolve this, ensure the viewing door is properly closed and sealed, adjusting the door catch or replacing gaskets if necessary. Also, check for any obstructions in the outside connections and clean the exhaust system. Make sure the pressure switch connection to the firebox is free of ash or any obstructions. Finally, the auger system might be jammed, or there could be a 'bridging' of fuel in the hopper, preventing fuel from flowing into the auger feed system.
