Why does my United States Stove US5513 Stove display flash 'E1'?
    • C
      Corey AdamsAug 16, 2025
The 'E1' error code on your United States Stove Stove indicates that the stove is consuming too much fuel, the convection blower is overheating, the stove is being left on the highest setting for extended periods, you are using fuel other than wood pellets, there was a power surge, or the high limit switch is malfunctioning. Try adjusting the fuel adjuster slide, cleaning the convection blower, operating at a lower heat setting, using only wood pellets, using a surge protector, or replacing the high limit switch.

What to do if my United States Stove US5513 Stove is not feeding pellets but the fuel feed light is on?
    • A
      April RamosAug 19, 2025
If your United States Stove Stove's fuel feed light is on, but it's not feeding pellets, the high limit switch may have tripped, the auger motor may be bad, there may be an auger jam, there is a loose wire or connector, or the control board may be faulty. Allow the stove to cool and reset the high limit switch. Check the auger motor, wires, and connectors. If problems persist, the control board might need to be replaced.

Why does my United States Stove US5513 high limit switch keep tripping?
    • S
      Seth JordanAug 22, 2025
The high limit switch on your United States Stove Stove might be tripping because the convection blower is overheating, the stove is being operated on the highest setting for too long, you're using fuel other than wood pellets, there was a power surge, or the high limit switch itself is malfunctioning. Clean the blower, use a lower heat setting, only use wood pellets, check for a surge protector, or replace the high limit switch.

Why does my United States Stove US5513 glass soot up so fast?
    • M
      Mitchell MarshallAug 28, 2025
If the glass on your United States Stove Stove is sooting up quickly, and the flame is lazy, dark, and has black tips, it could be due to a dirty stove or vent pipe, improper vent pipe installation, blocked burnpot holes, a blockage in the air intake pipe, a combustion blower that isn't spinning fast enough, or bad pellets. Clean the stove and vent pipe, ensure proper vent pipe installation, clean the burnpot holes, inspect the air intake pipe, test the combustion blower's RPM (it should be around 3000 RPM), and try a different brand or type of wood pellet.

Why does my United States Stove Stove convection blower shut off and come back on?
    • J
      jared12Aug 31, 2025
If the convection blower on your United States Stove Stove shuts off and comes back on, it could be overheating or there is a circuit board malfunction. Clean any dust off the blower's windings and fan blades. If that doesn't help, test the current going to the convection blower to see if the control board is sending power to the blower when it is shut off. If there is no power being sent, then the control board is bad.

How to fix 'E3' error on a United States Stove Stove?
    • D
      Denise HodgesSep 3, 2025
The 'E3' error code on your United States Stove Stove means the hopper is out of pellets, the air dampener is too far open, the burnpot holes are blocked, there's a blockage in the air inlet or exhaust system, the hopper safety switch has failed, the auger shaft is jammed, the auger motor has failed, the Proof of Fire (POF) thermodisc has malfunctioned, or the control board isn't sending power to the POF thermodisc. Refill the hopper. Adjust the air dampener. Clean the burnpot. Inspect and clear any blockages. Check the hopper safety switch and wiring. Clear any jams in the auger shaft. Test the auger motor and POF thermodisc.

Why does my United States Stove US5513 smell like smoke?
    • J
      Jody SalinasSep 6, 2025
If you smell smoke coming back into your home from your United States Stove Stove, there might be a leak in the vent pipe system, the gasket on the combustion blower could be bad, or there is an unusual soot build-up. Inspect all vent pipe connections and seal them properly. Inspect the gaskets on the combustion blower. Clean your stove.

Why won't my United States Stove US5513 ignite pellets?
    • D
      David SmithSep 9, 2025
If your United States Stove Stove feeds pellets but won't ignite, the air damper might be too open, there could be a blockage in the igniter tube, the burnpot might not be pushed in far enough, the igniter element could be bad, or the control board might not be sending power to the igniter. Close the air damper, clear any blockages in the igniter tube, ensure the burnpot is fully to the rear of the firebox, test the igniter element, and check the voltage going to the igniter during startup.

How to fix the 'E2' error on my United States Stove US5513?
    • O
      obriensueNov 24, 2025
The 'E2' error on your United States Stove Stove indicates a problem with airflow. The airflow switch hose or stove attachment pipes for hose may be blocked. Alternatively, the air inlet, burnpot, interior combustion air chambers, combustion blower, or exhaust pipe may be blocked with ash or foreign material. Other potential causes include an improperly sealed firebox, incorrect vent pipe installation, bad airflow switch wire connections, combustion blower failure, a control board not sending power to the combustion blower or air switch, or a failed air switch. Try unhooking the air hose and blowing through it to clear any blockages. Follow all cleaning procedures in the maintenance section of the owner’s manual. Ensure the door is closed and the gasket is in good shape. Check the vent pip...
