BEFORE THE FIRST USE
To ensure the first cup of coffee tastes excellent, you should rinse the coffee
maker with warm water as follows:
1. Open the water tank cover, pour water into water tank according to the
steps.
2. Set nylon filter into the funnel (no coffee ground). Then close the tank
cover.
3. Set steel mesh into metal funnel (no coffee in steel mesh). Then insert the
funnel into the appliance from the “Insert” position, and you can fix them
into coffee maker firmly through turn it anticlockwise until it is at the lock position.(See fig. 1).
4. Place carafe on keeping warm plate and espresso cup (yourself cup) on removable shelf. And
make sure the steam control knob is on the OFF position.
5. Connect to power source, 12:00 will show on display.
6. Press ON button for drip coffee twice, the red indicator will be illuminated and hot water will
come out after a few seconds.
7. After a few minutes, press ON button for drip coffee again, the red indicator goes out and the
coffee maker stops working.
8. Press down ON button for espresso coffee, the red indicator is illuminated, green indicator is
flashing on the position. It is the default program. You should press the PUMP button,
when there is water flowing out and close the pump immediately, the internal heat element starts
working, the coffee maker begins to be pre-heated. When the green indicator will not flash and is
illuminate, the pre-heated is finish. Press the PUMP button again and water will flow out..
Note: the pump can pump water only the green indicator is flashing or illuminating on the
position. Namely, when the green indicator is flashing or illuminating on the position, the
PUMP button is inactive.
9. After water not dropping out any more, you can pour the water in each container out then clean
them thoroughly, now you can start brewing.
Note: There may be noise when pump the water on the first time, it is normal, the appliance is
releasing the air in the appliance. After about 20s, the noise will disappear.
