and dry.
2. Properly insert the electrical cord into the power outlet on the
back of the machine and then plug the cord into the wall outlet.
3. Turn the power switch on the left side of the machine to the ON
position. The power switch will illuminate when the machine is
turned on.
Using the BS116 Impulse Bag Sealer
1. Select the proper size pouch for the product you are packaging.
Make sure that the opening of the pouch does not exceed
the length of the seal bar. Avoid overlling the pouch. Leave a
minimum of 3" of space between the contents and the open end of
the pouch. This is called head space. This will prevent spills during
the sealing process. The BS116 accepts pouches up to 16” wide.
2. Fill the pouch with the product to be sealed, and lay the opening
of the pouch between the seal bar and the seal pad. Keep pouches
that contain liquids or wet product below the height of the seal
bar. Make sure that the pouch lies at across the seal bar and is
free of wrinkles.
CAUTION: To prevent risk of injury, keep fingers and objects out of the sealing area.
DO NOT push down on the seal bar. This could damage the machine.
3. To seal the pouch, press and release the black SEAL button on
the right side of the machine. The top arm bar will engage for
approximately six seconds. Once the sealing process is complete,
the top arm bar will release and you may remove the pouch.
4. Inspect the pouch seal. A positive seal will be consistent in width
and appear clear upon inspection. If the seal is awless, the
process is complete.
