This product is guaranteed against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase until the expiry of the relevant

guarantee period shown below.

The guarantee is only valid if:-

1. The product has been installed, used and maintained in accordance with Vado’s instructions and subjected to

normal use only.

2. The defect is not due to use of an unsuitable or inadequate water or power supply.

3. The defect is not due to accident, misuse, neglect or repair other than by Vado or Vado authorised agents or

damage caused by foreign objects or substances.

4. We have received from you the completed Guarantee Registration Form. Vado accepts no responsibility for any

forms lost in the post and returns by registered means is therefore recommended.

Under this guarantee (which is non-transferable) Vado will, at its option, repair or replace free of charge any product

(or replacement part) found to be defective. The guarantee does not extend to any consequential loss or damage.

After repair or replacement the relevant guarantee period will be calculated from the original date of purchase.

The relevant guarantee periods are:-

1. Twelve years on chrome nish products.

2. Six years on Vado Identity products.

3. Three years on all other products with the exception of Stuart Turner Pumps which carry a 2 year Guarantee on

Monsoon Range and 1 Year Guarantee on Showermate Range.

All claims under the guarantee must be submitted in writing to the person who supplied the product to you and

must be received no later than the last day of the relevant guarantee period. All claims must be accompanied by

proof of purchase (sales receipt or delivery note).

Vado operates a policy of continuous product development and therefore reserves the right to change the product,

packaging and documentation specications without notice.

This guarantee is in addition to and does not aect your statutory rights as a consumer.

This document provides installation and maintenance instructions for the Vado ZOO single function deck mounted shower kit. It also includes a guarantee and a registration form.

Function Description:

The Vado ZOO single function deck mounted shower kit is designed to provide a showering solution that is integrated into a deck or surface. It features a single function handset, meaning it offers one spray pattern. The kit includes a riser rail and a shower hose, allowing for flexible use and positioning of the showerhead. The deck-mounted design ensures a clean and integrated look, suitable for various bathroom aesthetics. The product is intended for domestic use and is designed for easy installation and maintenance.

Important Technical Specifications:

Dimensions: The shower handset has a length of 185mm and a width of 28mm. The deck-mounted holder has a base diameter of 60mm, with a total height from the deck surface of approximately 47mm to the top of the holder and an additional 37mm for the threaded connection below the deck. The connection size for the water supply is 3/4".
Guarantee Periods:
- 12 years on chrome finish products.
- 6 years on Vado Identity products.
- 3 years on all other products, with exceptions for Stuart Turner Pumps (2-year guarantee on Monsoon Range, 1-year guarantee on Showermate Range).
Water Supply: The installation must comply with all Local/National Water Supply Authority Regulations/Byelaws and Building and Plumbing (UK:BS6700) Regulations. The product is designed to work with a suitable water supply, and defects due to unsuitable or inadequate water supply are not covered by the guarantee.

Maintenance Features:

Cleaning: Products should be cleaned with a soft damp cloth ONLY. The use of ALL cleaning products (powders and liquids) is strongly advised against, as it will invalidate the guarantee.
Hose Lubrication: To ensure smooth operation, a suitable silicone lubricant should be periodically applied to the hose. Oil-based lubricants should not be used.
Guarantee Conditions:
- Product must be installed, used, and maintained according to Vado's instructions and subjected to normal use.
- Defects must not be due to unsuitable water/power supply, accident, misuse, neglect, or unauthorized repair.
- Damage caused by foreign objects or substances is not covered.
- A completed Guarantee Registration Form must be received by Vado.
- Claims must be submitted in writing to the supplier no later than the last day of the guarantee period, accompanied by proof of purchase.
Product Development: Vado reserves the right to change product, packaging, and documentation specifications without notice due to continuous product development.

Installation Process (Summary):

Holder Installation:
- Remove the cover from the holder.
- Remove the nut, metal washer, and rubber washer from the bottom of the threaded tube.
- Insert the holder through the hole in the unit, ensuring the rubber washer is against the top surface.
- From the underside, slide the rubber washer, metal washer, and nut onto the threaded tube and tighten (caution: do not overtighten).
- Replace the cover.
Hose Connection to Holder:
- Push the smaller end of the shower hose down through the holder.
Handset Connection:
- Place a rubber washer into the cone at the end of the hose.
- Screw the handset into the cone.
- Place the cone into the holder.
Water Supply Connection:
- Connect the other end of the hose to the water supply. An adaptor and washer may be necessary, which are included with the unit.

Important Notes for Installers/Users:

Read instructions carefully before installation and keep for future reference.
Check for missing parts or damage before starting installation.
Any alterations to the product may infringe water regulations and invalidate the guarantee.
Installation must comply with all relevant local/national regulations (e.g., UK:BS6700).
It is strongly recommended to use a qualified and registered plumber for installation.
The guarantee is non-transferable.
Vado will, at its option, repair or replace defective products/parts free of charge.
The guarantee does not cover consequential loss or damage.
After repair or replacement, the guarantee period is calculated from the original purchase date.
This guarantee is in addition to and does not affect statutory consumer rights.
