Filling with detergent
Press the latch to open the dispenser and pour in the detergent. Close the cover and press it
down until it locks into place. The dispenser must be lled immediately before a new programme
is run. If the dishes are very dirty, place more detergent in the prewash compartment.
DETERGENT
Using mixed detergents
These products should be used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Do not
put combination detergent in the inner compartment or in the cutlery basket.
Combination detergents contain detergent, rinse aid, salt substitutes and additional components
depending on the mixture.
We recommend avoiding the use of combination detergents for short programmes. Please
use powdered detergents for such programmes.
If you encounter a problem when using combination detergent, please contact the manufacturer.
When you stop using combination detergents, make sure that the water hardness and rinse
aid settings are at the correct level.
Using rinse aid
The rinse aid dries the dishes without leaving any traces or stains. The rinse aid is needed for
spotless utensils and clear glasses. The rinse aid is automatically used during hot rinsing.
If the rinse aid quantity settings are too low, white marks remain on the dishes and they are
neither dried nor washed. If the rinse aid quantity settings are high, bluish spots appear on
glasses and dishes.
