5.2 Emergency power supply
There is an emergency power supply facility on the keyboard, in case the fitted battery becomes completely
discharged. While holding a 9-volt block battery firmly against the ‘+’ and ‘-’, carry out the normal opening
procedure. Then you can replace the empty battery.

5.1 Changing the battery
As soon as the battery is almost empty (and the voltage becomes too low), the red light will flash 5 times
and a warning signal will sound several times when the door is opened. This is the warning that you need
to change the battery.
Do not use rechargeable batteries, only high quality 9-volt batteries.
Unscrew the battery cover on the inside of the door. Remove the battery, insert a new battery, and fit the
cover in place again. Then test opening and closing a few times with the door open.
