Problem Cause Solution
Product shooting out of the
venture caused by back
pressure.
Obstruction in delivery hoses. Unplug hoses.
Collapsed delivery hose. Replace hose.
Fan speed too low. Increase fan speed to 17 inches
water column pressure.
Field speed too fast. Product is
being metered into venturis
faster than air flow can carry it.
Slow down.
Venturi filling up with product and
spilling over
Plugged fan inlet. Unplug inlet.
Fan speed too low. Increase fan speed to 17 inches
water column pressure.
Fan to manifold hose torn or not
operating.
Replace hose.
Fan not operating. Engage the fan drive.
Manifold pressure gauge giving
inaccurate reading.
Replace manifold pressure
gauge.
Plugged manifold. Clean out manifold.
Product caking up venturi. Clean venturi.
Hot or humid weather.
Water hopper. Clean out hopper
Water in manifold. Run fan to blow-dry the delivery
system.
