COMMON TAB
This tab contains parameters you set which are common for all installed channels.
Sample time
Sample Time determines the amount of time the
pump operates to draw the sample into the sample
loop. The sample time you enter here applies to all
channels.
Sample line temperature
This setting will control the instrument heated
sample line (only when sample line is physically
connected).
Stabilizing Time
If for Stabilizing Time a value larger than zero is
entered, an extra instrument state will be created,
the Stabilizing state (see
Stabilization_time on
page 94 for more details)
Continuous flow

CP-4900. At startup of Instrument control this
setting is uploaded from the CP-4900.

CP-4900. At startup of Instrument control this
setting is uploaded from the CP-4900.

Block all sample streams
This setting does only appear for the auto
sampler types “Relay 1+2 (solenoids)”,
“Extended Relays 5-8 (solenoids)” and
“Extended Relays 1-8 (solenoids)” as configured
in the Automation tab of the instrument
configuration. If selected, all relays configured
for stream selection will be opened
(deactivated). The requested stream from the
sequence will be ignored! This setting can be
used at the end of a sequence in a “shutdown”
method. All sample streams will be blocked in
order to create a save situation.
