5. Proceedings in case of technical problems
5.1. Hazard warning lights
Emergency lights are a warning to other drivers to be particularly careful
when approaching. These lights should be used whenever emergency repairs
are made or when the vehicle is immobilized on the road.
To turn on the emergency lights, turn the turn signal switch to the right, then
the left side or vice versa.
The hazard lights switch is located on the left handlebar next to the turn signal switch.
To turn off the hazard lights, press the button (1).
5.2. Loss of tire pressure while driving
If one of the tires loses pressure during driving:
1. Drive straight ahead and release the throttle and let the vehicle slow down.
Do not use the brakes straight away or try to pull off the road as this may result in
loss of vehicle control. When the scooter slows down enough that careful braking
and running off the road will be safe, it should be done. Go as far away from the
road as possible and place the vehicle on a hard, level surface.
2. When the vehicle stops, turn on the hazard warning lights.
3. As soon as possible inflate the tire.
WARNING
CAUTION: Self-diagnosing and troubleshooting against the procedures described below
can damage the scooter instead of troubleshooting. Such damage will not be covered by
the warranty. In case of any doubts as to the procedure or the diagnosis of the defect, im-
mediately contact an authorized service center or dealer velobike.co.uk.
