003 – ASSEMBLING BASE FRAME
Take one ALUMINIUM PROFILE of 450 mm (17.7") out of the box.
Take two ALUMINIUM PROFILES of 416 mm (16.4") out of the box.
Take the bag labelled with 14 out of the box. You should have 14 ANGULAR MOUNTS:

003 - Assembling Base Frame

Connecting Base Frame Profiles

Join 450mm and 416mm aluminium profiles using angular mounts for the frame base.

Attaching Feet to Frame

Assemble and attach adjustable feet to the base frame using nuts and washers.

X Carriage Assembly and Installation

Preparing X Carriage Rods

Select and insert the two 450mm rods into the linear bearings for the X carriage.

Assembling Rod Clamps

Attach ROD CLAMP X pieces to the rods and secure with bolts and nuts.

Installing and Adjusting X Carriage

Slide X carriage into frame, align, tighten bolts, and check movement.
