the sonar sensor on the water, allowing the unit to freeze
to the ice.
3. If there are any air between the sonar sensor and ice,
or the water below the ice, the unit will not work properly
and will require you to try another spot, or cut a hole in the
ice to use.
Note: To remove the sonar sensor from the frozen ice,
spray a small amount of water on the ice surface around
the base of the sonar sensor and gently tap the sensor
until the sensor is easily removed. Never use a blunt
object to strike the sonar sensor as this may cause
damage to the sensitive internal electronics.
STORING YOUR FISH FINDER
1. Remove the batteries from the fish finder before storing
to prevent battery leakage and corrosion.
2. Clean the sonar sensor and cable with fresh water and
dry off. Do not submerge or spray the fish finder screen
with water.
3. Never leave the fish finder in temperatures over 113°
Fahrenheit (45° Celsius) as the extreme temperatures
can damage the electronic components.
4. Keep the unit in temperatures above 14° Fahrenheit
(-10° Celsius) during operation. The sonar sensor cable
becomes very stiff under cold conditions. So do not wind
or unwind the cable in temperatures below 3 Fahrenheit
(0º Celsius).
