Working with existing heating/cooling systems
If the house has additional heating and cooling
systems it is important that the Ventis System
is set between 2ºC and 4ºC higher than the
Ventis set point. This will enable Ventis to work
more than your artificial Heat and or Cooling
system, which you can manually Heat and Cool
at any time. High circulation levels are likely to
increase supplementary heating and cooling
costs as external air is drawn into the home. Set
your desired temperature from the main AUTO
Mode screen by pressing the up and down
arrows on the right side of the controller panel.
Winter and Summer Operation
In winter: Cooling should be disabled
In summer: Heating should be disabled.
This will prevent the Ventis System competing
with other air heaters or coolers. Control
Heating and Cooling modes from the Modes
Menu.
A step by step instruction video is available
on our web site www.ventis.com.au on how to
change the setting from Winter to Sumer
Filer Change Requirement
Filters need replacing approximately every 12
months. The system will let you know when it’s
time for a filter change. You can change the
filter yourself or get a helpful Ventis technician in
to do it for you. A DIY filter change instructional
pdf will be available for download from the
website - www.ventis.com.au. We do however
advise that every alternate year a service
technician does come out and change your filter
and check your system.
