CALIBRATING THE SYSTEM
If your facility requires it, you can calibrate your BladderScan Prime Plus system periodically as described in
the following procedure. The BladderScan Prime Plus system does not require routine or periodic calibration
under normal use. For all other information about how to use and maintain this system, see the Operations
and Maintenance Manual available at verathon.com/product-documentation.
ProcEdurE 1. PErForM THE cALIBrATIoN
To complete this procedure, you must have a calibration tank designed for the BladderScan Prime system.

Customer Care or your local representative.
1. Place the calibration tank on a at, non‑reective surface, and then remove the lid.
2. Using the notches to position the spiral-shaped target correctly, place the target in the tank base.
3. Pour clean, room temperature water into the container, lling to the top of the textured section.
4. Minimize the amount of air bubbles in the water and on the target.
5. Replace the tank lid onto the base.
6. Place the probe into the collar in the tank lid. Align the probe button with the notch exactly as shown, and
ensure that the tip of the probe is submerged in the water.
7. On the Home screen, tap Settings.
