STEP 1: INSTALL STORAGE SHELF RAILS
Left front Right front
Identify the left and the right rails which are
labeled LH (left-hand) and RH (right-hand)
on the front inside of the rail.
Front
Locate the pins on the front and the rear of
the rails. Start with the left rail. Place the
rail pins inside the front of the rack.
The storage shelf rails are extended to full
length in the shipping container. Use the
four adjuster screws on the inside of the
rail to increase or decrease the rail length.

Extend the rail assembly to enable the rear
rail pins to engage. Verify that the pins are
fully seated in the holes in the rack posts.
Secure the four adjuster screws as needed.
Repeat the process for the right rail. Verify
that the left rails and the right rails use the
same rack holes and are parallel.
The front of the rail requires one medium
screw in the center hole of the center RU.
The rear of the rail requires two clamping
screws in the middle hole in the first and the
fifth RU. Tighten the four adjuster screws
on the inside of the rails to fix the rails.

Summary

Install Storage Shelf Rails

Identify Left and Right Rails

Identify the left and right rails labeled LH and RH on the front inside of the rail.

Mount Front Rail Pins

Locate the pins on the front of the rails and place them inside the front of the rack.

Secure Rear Rail Pins

Extend the rail assembly to engage the rear rail pins and secure adjuster screws.

Align and Secure Right Rail

Repeat the process for the right rail, verifying alignment and parallelism.

Final Rail Securing

Secure the front and rear of the rail using specified screws and adjuster screws.

Install Storage Shelves

Prepare and Mount Storage Shelf

Remove plastic film and caps, then lower the shelf onto rack ledges and push it back.

Secure Shelf to Rack

Insert a small screw through the lock tab into the rail's triangular end.

Reattach Front Caps

Reattach the left and right caps on the front of the storage shelf.

Install Bezels

Remove shelf screws, put on the bezel, and secure with the screws.

Install Node Rails

Identify and Mount Rails

Identify and mount the left and right rails into the rack, aligning pins and securing them.

Secure Rail Rear Lock

Push the blue lock on the rail toward the rack wall to secure it behind the post.

Assemble Rail Components

Identify the three rail types: outer, intermediate, and inner rails.

Extend and Release Inner Rail

Extend rails using the white pull tab to release the inner rail from outer/intermediate rails.

Attach Inner Rail to Chassis

Attach the inner rail to the chassis at three points; it clicks into place.

Install the Node

Verify Outer Rail Attachment

Ensure the outer rail is secure and the intermediate rail is locked forward.

Mount Node to Rack

Align the node's inner rail with the rack's intermediate rail and slide it forward.

Unlock Rail Mechanism

Pull the blue tab forward to unlock the intermediate rail and slide the node in.

Secure Node Captive Screws

Secure the captive screws onto the node ears for stability.

Attach Bezel

Angle the bezel's tabs to engage chassis holes and rotate the lock counter-clockwise.

Connect Hardware

Refer to the Cabling guide to connect hardware after installation.
