ATTACHING THE PLASTIC PROTECTORS TO THE OUTER LADDER
Before using the Versaladder, attach the plastic protectors
to the upper ends of the outer ladder. You will find the
plastic protectors in a plastic bag.
To attach the plastic protectors, proceed as follows:
1. Pull out the four Height Adjustment Locks. This will
release the two parts of the ladder.
2. Take the inner ladder completely out of the outer
ladder.
3. Attach the plastic protector to each of the upper ends
of the outer ladder and check they are perfectly fastened.
4. Fit the inner ladder into the outer one again and put
the Versaladder back to its original position.
USING THE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT LOCKS
The Versaladder can be converted into an extendable ladder thanks to the four height adjustment locks on the
side rails that secure the ladder at the desired height.
To release the locks, pull them out and turn slightly. Each device works separately, thereby offering greater freedom
of movement.
ADJUSTING LADDER HEIGHT
- Pull out the four height adjustment locks and turn. The inner and
outer parts of the Versaladder are thus released and can be adjusted
to the desired height.
- Pull out the inner ladder until the desired height is reached.
- Hold the inner ladder in one hand. Turn each of the height adjustment
locks with the other hand and fit into the holes in the side rail. This
will lock the ladder at the desired height. Ensure that the four height
adjustment locks fit perfectly into the holes in the side rail. Hold the
inner ladder firmly during this operation to prevent any accidents
from occurring.
USING THE DUAL-POSITION LOCKING HINGES
The ladder can be locked in two different positions by means of the hinges with
levers at the top of the Versaladder:
