The electric griddle is primarily used for cooking food items on a flat, heated surface. Usage Features:

• Initial Setup: Before first use, users must remove all promotional and packaging materials, and ensure cooking plates are clean. A slight smoke or odor may be emitted during the initial heating, which is normal.
• Placement: The griddle should be placed on a clean, dry, level surface near a plug base outlet.
• Operation:
  1. Plug the cord into a wall outlet; the green indicator light will illuminate, indicating power supply.
  2. Turn the temperature knob clockwise to set the desired temperature. The yellow indicator light will turn on, signifying that the electric heater is active and the temperature is rising.
  3. Once the desired temperature is reached, the heat controller automatically cuts off, the yellow indicator light extinguishes, and the heating stops.
  4. As the temperature slightly drops, the heat controller re-energizes, the yellow indicator light turns on, and heating resumes to maintain the set temperature range.
  5. After use, turn the temperature knob counterclockwise to the limit position and cut off the power for safety.
• Food Handling: Use a provided shovel or non-metal utensils to remove cooked food to avoid damaging the heating plate surface.
• Grease Management: The oil drip tray collects excess oil and grease and should be emptied frequently to prevent overflow.
• Safety Precautions:
  • Do not touch hot surfaces directly; always use handles or knobs.
  • Do not immerse the cord, plug, or unit in water or other liquids to prevent electrical shock.
  • Unplug the machine when not in use, before cleaning, and allow it to cool down.
  • Do not operate with a damaged cord, plug, or if the unit malfunctions or has mechanical damage.
  • Avoid using non-manufacturer-recommended accessories.
  • Keep out of reach of children and minors.

Maintenance Features:

• Daily Cleaning:
  1. After daily use, keep the griddle hot (at approximately 300°F).
  2. Rub the griddle clean with a grill brush or grill brick.
  3. Avoid using cleaning chemicals or soaps, as they can be absorbed by the surface or seep into gaps, affecting food flavor. Use only clean water, oil, and/or a food-grade degreaser if necessary.
  4. Remove and empty the grease container, clean the grease trough, and the unit's surface.
  5. Allow the unit to cool completely and apply a thin coating of cooking oil to prevent corrosion.
• Weekly Cleaning:
  1. Perform the daily cleaning process.
  2. Allow the griddle to cool completely.
  3. Thoroughly clean the griddle plate with a food-grade degreaser.
  4. Avoid cleaning chemicals or soaps for the same reasons as daily cleaning.
  5. Season the griddle according to the "Start-up" section instructions (not detailed in this manual excerpt).
  6. To prevent corrosion, ensure the griddle is seasoned and a thin coating of cooking oil is applied.
• Storage:
  1. Always unplug the machine before storage.
