• If the inside surface of the barbecue lid has the appearance
of peeling paint, baked on grease build-up has turned to
carbon and is aking o, clean thoroughly with strong, hot
soapy water soluon. Rinse with water and allow to dry
completely. NEVER USE OVEN CLEANER.
2. Interior Of Barbecue Boom
Remove residue using brush, scraper and/or cleaning pad. Then
wash with a soapy water soluon. Rinse with water and allow
to dry.
3. Cooking Grid
Use a mild soapy water soluon. Non-abrasive scouring powder
can be used on stubborn stains then rinse with water.
4. Cleaning the burner assembly
• Turn the gas OFF at the control knob and disconnect the
cylinder.
• Remove cooling grate.
• Clean the burner with a so brush or blow clean with
compressed air and wipe with a cloth.
• Clean any clogged parts with a pipe cleaner or s wire
such as an opened paper clip.
• Inspect burner for any damage, cracks or holes. In case of
damage, replace with a new burner. Re-install the burner,
check to ensure that the gas valve orices are correctly
posioned and secured inside the burner inlet (venturi).

Burners will not light
using the ignion

LP gas cylinder is empty. Replace with a full cylinder.

Reconnect wire.

LP gas cylinder is empty. Replace with a full cylinder.
Faulty regulator. Have regulator checked or replace.
Obstrucons in the burner. Clean burner.
Obstrucons in gas jets or gas hose. Clean jets and gas hose.
Low ame or ashback
(re in burner tube, a
hissing or roaring noise

LP gas cylinder too small. Use larger cylinder.

Windy condions. Use BBQ in a more sheltered
posion.
Diculty turning gas

6.3 Servicing
• Your gas barbecue should be serviced annually by a competent, authorised person.
