1. Check whether all electrical connections have
been correctly made.

3. Switch ON the power supply. The energy meter
runs through an initialisation process. During this
process, the red LED flashes for 20 seconds.
Initialisation process successful:
Red LED is extinguished.
Initialisation process unsuccessful:
Red LED
illuminates continually. For remedial
measures, see chapter "Fault messages" on
page 13.

Green Flashes Indicating effective power:
The LED flashes once every 10 Wh.
OFF Immersion heater not connected. See page 13

Red Flashes During the initialisation process at the first start-up:
LED flashes for 20 s
Wait until initialisation
process has been
completed.

ON Error during initialisation process See page 13
Green ON Energy meter is ready for operation.
Instructing the system user
Instruct the system user on how to operate the energy
meter in conjunction with the heating system as a
whole.
The instructions must cover the following points:
Operation of the energy meter
What to do in the event of a fault: Isolate the appli-
ance from the power supply. Notify your local heating
contractor.
