If the motor of your Viking Paper Shredder doesn't start, several issues could be the cause. First, the motor overload protection might be activated; in this case, allow the machine to cool down. Check the electric cable, plug, plug connector, and fuse. The blade disc may be blocked, so clear any blockage. The feed chute may not be properly closed, so ensure it is. Also, the locking device may not be reset; try resetting it.
