Prepare the unit by removing the lid and holding cup before use.
Fill the carafe with fresh, room temperature water up to the fill line.
Disassemble filter parts by twisting counter clockwise.
Add coffee grounds to the filter basket using the scoop.
Place lid assembly into carafe and steep for 12-24 hours.
Remove lid assembly and place it in the holding cup.
Remove serving lid from filter and place on carafe.
