5. Controller Configuration
An AXS-100 Master-Slave system can control up to 16 doors on a single RS-485 data loop using any combination of up to
8 master or slave controllers.
NOTE: One master controller is required for each RS-485 data loop.
Connections between the controllers must be implemented with CAT-5 twisted pair cable. The maximum distance between
controller #1 (Master) and the furthest one (controller #8) is no longer than 1,200 meters.
The circuit board of the AXS-100 controller (irregardless of type) contain 3-connector blocks for daisy chaining up to 7 (seven)
slave controllers to one Master AXS-100/AXS-100 XT controller in a bus configuration. Connect terminal B to B and D to D,
GND to GND, this way up to seven slave controllers.
