The desiccant removes excess moisture from the optical head.
The method for removing the LED arrays is identical for either side.
Turn on the power switch and place the subject beneath the Mantis viewing head.
Move the viewing head up or down until the subject is in focus and tighten the friction clamp.
Adjust the eye spacing control to obtain a comfortable stereo view.
Loosen screw to remove lens, fit new lens, tighten screw or rotate turret.
Adjust counterbalance screw until the viewing head does not drift up or down.
Loosen tilt friction control, move head, then tighten friction control.
Remove anti glare hood to improve viewing in certain lighting environments.
