Cleaning and Storage
PLEASE NOTE!
■ The device may not be connected to the mains and must be completely switched off
for cleaning!
■ Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning. These can damage
the surface.
• Wipe down the device just with a damp cloth if necessary. Then wipe it down fully
with a dry cloth.
• Do not wind the mains cable around the device or the mains adapter.
• Keep the device in its respective packaging in a dry place which is protected from
sunlight and is not accessible to children and animals.
Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps below, contact the customer
service department.
Do not attempt to repair a electrical device yourself!
Problem Possible cause / solution
The device does not
work.
• Has the ON/OFF button (1) been pressed properly?
• Is the mains adapter inserted in the plug socket?
• Is the plug socket defective? Try another one.
• Check the fuse of the mains connection.
• Is the connecting cable connected correctly to the mains
cable of the mains adapter?
• The device has switched off automatically after operating
for 15 minutes. Press the ON / OFF button (1) again.
• There is too much weight on the device.
No heat is produced. • Is the red light and heat switched on?
The device gets too
warm.
• Was it in operation several times in succession for 15 min-
utes / too long in each case? Pull the mains adapter out of
the plug socket and allow the device to cool down. Always
disconnect the device from the mains when it is not in use.
The device makes
noises.
• Operating noises are a normal consequence of the me-
chanics and not a defect.
Smoke emerges from
the device.
• Pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket immediately
and contact the customer service department.
