This document details various mounting brackets for VITEC Media Players and Chromecast devices, designed to provide secure installation in diverse environments. The brackets offer versatile mounting options, including wall mounting, behind-screen mounting for TVs, and under-desk/shelf mounting.
1. Simple Wall Bracket (Part Number 06024, avstr-bkt-sm-b)
- Function Description: This bracket allows 94-series and 96-series Media Players to be securely mounted on a wall.
- Compatibility: It is compatible with m9400, m9405, and m9605 devices.
- Important Note: This bracket is not compatible with 95-series Media Players.
- Usage Features:
- Two brackets are supplied and required per unit for installation.
- Dimensions: Approximately 140.00 mm (length) x 42.50 mm (width).
- Maintenance Features:
- Supplied with four M3 x 8mm CSK Pozi Drive (Stainless) screws for secure attachment.
2. Behind Screen Mount - Small Plate (Part Number 06026, avstr-bkt-vs)
- Function Description: This bracket securely attaches 94-series/95-series/96-series Media Players to the back of any standard plasma/LCD TV. It is designed for screens with VESA mount hole spacings up to 200mm.
- Compatibility: It can be used with m9400, m9405, m9500, and m9605 devices.
- Usage Features:
- Attaches to standard fixing points on the TV.
- Dimensions: Approximately 250 mm (width) x 167.80 mm (height).
- VESA Mount Hole Spacings: Supports 75 mm, 100 mm, 120 mm, 150 mm, and 200 mm.
- Maintenance Features:
- Supplied with four M3 x 8mm CSK Pozidriv (Stainless) screws and two M10 washers for installation.
3. Behind Screen Mount - Large Plate (Part Number 06025, avstr-bkt-vl)
- Function Description: This bracket securely attaches 94-series/95-series/96-series Media Players to the back of any standard plasma/LCD TV. It is designed for screens with larger VESA mount hole spacings, up to 400mm.
- Compatibility: It can be used with m9400, m9405, m9500, and m9605 devices.
- Usage Features:
- Attaches to standard fixing points on the TV.
- Dimensions: Approximately 430 mm (width) x 48.35 mm (height).
- VESA Mount Hole Spacings: Supports 75 mm, 100 mm, 120 mm, 150 mm, 200 mm, 300 mm, and 400 mm.
- Installation Steps:
- Locate and prise off the removable feet from the underside of the device.
- Align the device as shown and attach it to the bracket.
- Maintenance Features:
- Supplied with four M3 x 8mm CSK Pozidriv (Stainless) screws and two M10 washers for installation.

- Function Description: This bracket allows 93-series and 95-series Media Players to be mounted on a wall.
- Compatibility: It can be used with r9300, m9305, and m9500 devices.
- Usage Features:
- All dimensions are in millimetres.
- Dimensions: Approximately 160 mm (length) x 34.1 mm (width), with a mounting area of 146 mm.
- Maintenance Features:
- Supplied with two M2.5 x 4mm screws for installation.
2. Behind Screen Mount - Small Plate (Part Number 06022, avply-vsbkt)
- Function Description: This bracket securely attaches 93-series Media Players to the back of any standard plasma/LCD TV. It is designed for screens with VESA mount hole spacings up to 200mm.
- Compatibility: It can be used with r9300 and m9305 devices.
- Usage Features:
- Dimensions: Approximately 250 mm (width) x 148.50 mm (height).
- VESA Mount Hole Spacings: Supports 75 mm, 100 mm, 120 mm, 150 mm, and 200 mm.
- Installation Steps:
- Locate and prise off the removable rubber feet from the underside of the device.
- Align the device as shown and attach it to the bracket.
- Maintenance Features:
- Supplied with four M2.5 x 4mm screws and two M8 washers for installation.
3. Behind Screen Mount - Large Plate (Part Number 18337, avply-vlbkt)
- Function Description: This bracket securely attaches 93-series Media Players to the back of any standard plasma/LCD TV. It is designed for screens with VESA mount hole spacings up to 400mm.
- Compatibility: It can be used with r9300 and m9305 Media Players.
- Usage Features:
- Dimensions: Approximately 430 mm (width) x 148.35 mm (height).
- VESA Mount Hole Spacings: Supports 75 mm, 100 mm, 120 mm, 150 mm, 200 mm, 300 mm, and 400 mm.
- Maintenance Features:
- Supplied with four M2.5 x 4mm screws and two M10 washers for installation.
4. Under Desk Mounting Bracket (Part Number 06021, avply-dbkt)
- Function Description: This bracket allows 93-series Media Players to be attached under a desk, shelf, or on a wall.
- Compatibility: It can be used with r9300 and m9305 Media Players.
- Usage Features:
- Dimensions: Approximately 305 mm (length) x 230 mm (width) x 50 mm (height), with an 82 mm mounting flange.
- Installation Steps:
- Locate and prise off the removable feet from the underside of the device.
- Align the device as shown and attach it to the bracket using the two supplied M2.5x4mm Pozidriv screws.
- Use suitable fasteners to attach the completed assembly to a wall, or to the underside of a desk or counter surface.
- Maintenance Features:
- Supplied with four M2.5 x 4mm screws for installation.
- Function Description: This feature allows for securing the device using a Kensington type lock, providing physical security while maintaining easy access to cables and flexibility for re-positioning.
- Required Items:
- A 93-/95-series Media Player
- Kensington lock
- Secure anchor point
- Installation Steps:
- Locate the Kensington Lock slot at the right rear of the device.
- Secure the non-lock end of the cable to an anchor point.
- Insert the lock into the device slot and secure it.
Chromecast Bracket (Part Number 06066, vshare-chrome-bkt)
- Function Description: This bracket, made of aluminium, provides a VESA mount and security solution for VITEC's Google Chromecast device. It offers a method of securing the device behind a display.
- Compatibility: Compatible with 3rd Generation Chromecast only.
- Usage Features:
- Has standard VESA mounting holes for versatile installation.
- Dimensions: Approximately 63.5 mm (height) x 35 mm (width).
- VESA Mount Hole Spacings: Supports 75 mm, 100 mm, 120 mm, 150 mm, and 200 mm.
- Material: Steel VESA mount and security bracket.
