Overview

This document describes the VT-2054 GY ceramic fan heater, a device designed for heating small to medium-sized rooms.

Function Description

The VT-2054 GY is a ceramic fan heater equipped with various functions to provide comfortable and safe heating. It features a control panel on the unit and a remote control for convenient operation.

Key functions include:

  • Power On/Off: The device can be switched on and off using dedicated buttons on both the control panel and the remote control.
  • Power Level Selection: Users can choose between two power levels: 1400 W for small rooms and 2000 W for larger rooms.
  • Body Oscillation: The fan heater can oscillate to distribute warm air more evenly across the room.
  • Timer Setting: A switch-off timer can be set from 0.5 to 7.5 hours in 0.5-hour increments, allowing for automatic shutdown.
  • Room Heating Temperature Setting: The desired room temperature can be set within a range of 18 to 45 degrees Celsius, with 1-degree increments. The device will automatically switch off the heating element once the set temperature is reached and resume operation if the temperature drops.
  • Automatic Emergency Switch-Off: This safety feature activates if the unit overheats, automatically turning off the fan heater to prevent damage.
  • Protection from Dropping: If the fan heater is accidentally dropped, a blocking device will activate, switching off the unit. It must be returned to a vertical position and restarted.

Important Technical Specifications

  • Supply Voltage: 220-240 V ~ 50 Hz
  • Power Consumption: 1400/2000 W (corresponding to low and high power levels)
  • Service Life: 3 years

Usage Features

Before First Use:

  • If the unit has been transported or stored at low temperatures, allow it to stand at room temperature for at least three hours before use.
  • Unpack the fan heater and remove all packaging materials.
  • Check the unit for any damage. Do not use it if damaged.
  • Ensure that the operating voltage matches the mains voltage.

Operating the Fan Heater:

  • Placement: Place the fan heater on a flat, dry, and steady surface, ensuring the front and rear grids are not blocked and there is at least 0.9 m clearance from flammable materials, curtains, or furniture.
  • Remote Control: Install CR2025 batteries in the remote control, ensuring correct polarity.
  • Control Panel (Display 3): The display shows current temperature, selected power level, timer settings, and oscillation status. Digital indications (14) show temperature and timer values.
  • Power On/Off (Button 9 or 23): Press this button to turn the unit on or off. When turning off, a sound signal will be heard, and a flashing symbol (15) will appear, indicating a 30-second countdown before complete shutdown.
  • Power Level Selection (Button 10 or 24): Press to cycle through fan-only mode, low power (1400 W), and high power (2000 W).
  • Body Oscillation (Button 11 or 25): Press to activate or deactivate the oscillation mode.
  • Timer Setting (Button 12 or 26): Press repeatedly to set the switch-off timer from 0.5 to 7.5 hours. To check the current timer setting, press once. To switch off the timer, cycle until "0.0" appears.
