Usage Features

Before First Use: After transportation or storage at low temperatures, allow the grill to stand at room temperature for at least three hours before switching it on. Ensure the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the unit. The grill operates on an AC power network with a frequency of 50 Hz.

Unpack the grill and remove all packaging materials. Wipe the grill body with a slightly damp cloth and then dry it. Open the grill using the handle (5). Move the lower frying plate lock (2) to the right to remove the lower heating plate (3). Similarly, move the upper frying plate lock (7) to the left to remove the upper heating plate (4). Wash both frying plates (3 and 4) with warm water and a neutral detergent, then dry them thoroughly. Reinstall the frying plates by aligning the ledges with the rear locks and pressing the front part of the plates until the locks click.

Before using the grill for the first time, apply a small amount of vegetable oil to the non-stick coating of the frying plates (3 and 4), spread it evenly, and wipe off any surplus with a paper napkin. Close the grill, plug it into a socket (the power indicator (10) will light up), and set the temperature control knob (9) to the maximum heating position «MAX». After 5-10 minutes, switch the unit off by setting the temperature control knob (9) to «MIN» and unplug it. Wait for the frying plates to cool completely and remove any remaining vegetable oil.

Note: During the first operation, the heating elements may scorch, producing a small amount of smoke or a foreign smell. This is normal and not a sign of malfunction.

Cooking with the Grill: Place the grill on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface away from moisture, heat, and open flames, ensuring free access to the mains socket. Maintain at least a 20 cm gap between the grill base and the wall, and 30 cm above the grill. Do not use the grill near highly flammable materials or liquids. Ensure the frying plates (3 and 4) are correctly installed and fixed.

  1. Open the grill using the handle (5).
  2. Lightly oil the non-stick coating of the frying plates (3 and 4) and close the grill.
  3. Ensure the fat collector (1) is in place.
  4. Set the temperature control knob (9) to «OFF».
  5. Plug the grill into the socket; the power indicator (10) and the frying plates heating indicator (8) will light up.
  6. Use the temperature control knob (9) to set the desired cooking temperature. The frying plates heating indicator (8) will turn off.
  7. Once the frying plates (3, 4) reach the set temperature, the indicator (8) will light up, signaling that cooking can begin.
  8. Open the grill and carefully place food on the lower frying plate (3). Be cautious of splashes from liquids or fat.
  9. To use the unit as a griddle plate, lower the upper frying plate (4) onto the food using the handle (5).
  10. After cooking, lift the upper frying plate (4) fully using the handle (5).
  11. Transfer the cooked food to a suitable dish using wooden or heat-resistant plastic kitchen tools.
  12. For continuous cooking, lower the upper frying plate (4) onto the lower one (3) and wait for the plates to reach the set temperature again (indicator (8) will light up).

Using the Grill as an Open Cooking Unit: Attention: Open the grill before plugging it in.

  1. Lift the upper frying plate (4) fully using the handle (5).
  2. While holding the upper frying plate (4) by the handle (5), press the detent button (6) (pic. 1) and fully open the grill (pic. 2).
  3. Ensure the fat collector (1) is in place.
  4. Set the temperature control knob (9) to «OFF».
  5. Plug the grill into the socket; the power indicator (10) and the frying plates heating indicator (8) will light up.
  6. Set the desired temperature using the control knob (9). The frying plates heating indicator (8) will turn off. Wait for the plates to heat up; when the indicator (8) lights up, you can begin cooking.
  7. Cook products on both frying plates (3 and 4).
  8. After cooking, set the temperature control knob (9) to «MIN» and unplug the unit.
  9. Wait for the unit to cool down completely before cleaning.

Safety Measures:

  • Always install the fat collector (1) during cooking.
  • Do not open the grill while the frying plates (3 and 4) are heating up; they heat more quickly and evenly when closed.
  • The grill body heats up strongly during operation. Do not touch hot surfaces; open the grill only by the handle (5).
  • Be careful of hot steam from the gaps between the frying plates. Keep hands and other body parts away from the plates.
  • Do not use the grill for defrosting or cooking frozen food.
  • Do not cook meat with large bones.
  • Frying time depends on the products. Ensure food is thoroughly cooked before consumption.
  • Remove products immediately after cooking to prevent ignition.
  • Never use sharp metal objects to remove food, as they can damage the non-stick coating. Use plastic or wooden kitchen tools.
