PHOTO CAPTURE MODE MENUS
To open the Photo Capture menu options, press the OK button while in Photo Capture Mode.
The following menus appear:
RESOLUTION
The ‘Resolution’ menu allows you to choose the desired size of the photos taken by your
camcorder. Keep in mind that photos with a higher resolution will also take up more space on
your camcorder’s memory card.
The ‘Resolution’ menu options include:
 5M 5MP (2582X1944, Default)
 3M 3MP (2048x1536)
 1M 1.3MP (1280×960)
QUALITY
The 'Quality’ menu allows you to select the desired quality level of the images taken by your
camcorder. Keep in mind that photos with a higher image quality level will also take up more
memory on your camcorder’s memory card.
The ‘Quality’ menu options include:
 Super Fine
 Fine (Default)
 Normal
METERING
The ‘Metering’ setting will affect how your camera focuses when capturing an image. Depending
on your selection, the camera will be more sensitive to focusing on particular areas in the display
and adjust the image color and lighting accordingly.
The ‘Metering’ menu options include:
 Center – Averages the light metered from the entire frame, but giving greater weight to the
subject in the center.
 Multi – Used in standard conditions the camera divides and adjusts the settings of the image
