Overview
VIVOTEK’s FD9171-HT and FD9181-HT are two brand-new professional H.265 high-
efciency outdoor dome network cameras, offering 30 fps @ 3-Megapixel with outstanding
image quality. The FD9181-HT provides 30 fps @ 5-Megapixel and 60 fps @ 1080p
as an option for high frame rate. Employing H.265 technology enables the cameras to
provide higher and more efcient image compression rates than previous H.264 systems.
In addition, VIVOTEK’s sophisticated Smart Stream II enables the cameras to optimize
resolution for a desired object or area and therefore to maximize efciency of bandwidth
usage. Combining both H.265 and Smart Stream II, the FD9171-HT and FD9181-HT can
reduce both bandwidth and storage consumption up to 80% while maintaining image
quality of the high standard.
To meet the demands of indoor applications, these cameras feature a built-in PIR sensor
to help detect any unexpected events and to provide real-time responses .
