In order to guarantee the perfect con-
servation of all engine components, an
“overseas” packaging should be used in
case of maritime transport.
The packaging contains all the informa-
tion needed to carry out the loading and
unloading operations.
During transport, make sure the load
is properly secured to the means of
transport to avoid unexpected displace-
ments.
When transporting the uncovered engine
by road, use the lifting points provided to
secure it steadily and prevent compo-
nents from being damaged.
UNPACKING
Follow the procedure below.
1- Remove the cover of the packaging.
The packaging includes a bag with all
the relevant technical documentation and
standard components.
2-While unpacking, make sure the com-
ponents are intact and their quantity is
correct.
3- Place the lifting device as shown in
the gure.
4- Loosen the screws (A) and disassem-
ble the side supports (B).
5- Move the engine to the installation
area.
If necessary, keep the material in case
you need to pack the engine in the
future.
In case of any damage or missing part,
contact the manufacturer’s Assistance
Service to establish the procedure to
be adopted.
The packaging material should be sui-
tably eliminated in compliance with the
applicable legislation.
