Introduction
This document provides instructions on how to factory reset
and test a VeloCloud Edge unit.
Tools Required
● 1x computer dedicated to testing Edge units. (Make
sure the computer or laptop only has a network
connection to the Edge).
● 2x Ethernet cable, 2x SFP transceivers, 1x fiber
cable.
Performing a Hard Reset on the VeloCloud Edge
Follow the procedures below to perform a hard factory reset
to the VeloCloud Edge. This restores the original
manufactured image to the Edge.
1. Make sure the Edge is powered down.
2. Locate the RESET button located on the back of the
Edge as shown in the image below.
0. Insert a paperclip or something similar into the
RESET button (see image below).
