Sun
screen
The
sun screen to prevent intensive sun
rays
shining in can be slid open or
closed
by
hand
with roof open or
closed.
To open
Press
the sun screen upwards at front on
grip and slide screen fully to rear.
To close
Slide
screen forwards against spring pres-
sure,
until the retaining lug engages.
With ignition switched on, the roof can be
opened
and closed with the switch.
To open
Press
front of switch 2.
To close
Press
rear of switch 1.
Warning
•
Please be careful
when
closing
the
roof!
Injuries
could occur If
the roof is closed
without
due
attention
or too quickly. The igni-
tion
key should, for
this
reason,
always
be removed
when
leaving
the vehicle.
•
The sliding roof could be
blocked by the roof load
when
opening. Please ensure,
there-
fore,
that
there
is enough room
between
the sliding roof and the
roof load.

If the system should develop a fault the roof
can
also
be closed by hand.
•
Pull
cover down at rear until it
disen-
gages
(arrow 1) and take out to rear (arrow
2).
•
Remove crank from retainer in cover.
•
Insert crank in opening and
close
the
slid-
ing roof by turning the crank.
•
Place
the crank in the designated re-
tainer.
•
Fit cover as follows:
Slide
cap onto the frame with retaining lugs
at front and then press up at rear until it lo-
cates.
