Installing
seat
•
Place
both
scat legs in the
grooves
in the
vehicle
floor
(arrows in
right
hand

tion).

Tilt seat forwards
until
the latch is heard
to
engage
at the
bolt
(3).
A
visual check and a pull will ensure
that the latch is properly engaged.
Warning
Never operate locking lever
when
seat
is occupied.
Risk
of in-
jury!
Notes
•
If the backrests of the front
seats
are tilted a long way back, they may
hit the backrests of the folding
seats.
This can lead to the latch
being unable to engage. The front
seat
backrests should thus be set
upright prior to installation of
fold-
ing
seats.
•
The securing elements of the
single
seats
are adapted to each
individual chair. The
seats
should,
therefore, not become confused.
•
Group 0 child
seats
must not be
used on single folding
seats.
General notes
Warning
When the vehicle is in motion, no-
body
should be seated on the
bench or in the
seats
unless they
are in the driving position. The
backrest must be properly en-
gaged so that all passengers can
be properly belted in.
Passengers sitting on the sleep-
ing
surface of the
seat
bench or
in the luggage
area
can be hurled

forwards in
case
of an accident
or sudden braking - danger of in-
jury!
The sleeping surface or luggage
area
should therefore never be
used when the vehicle is in mo-
tion!
Warning
The following points are import
ant for the safety of vehicle
OCCU
pants and should be noted when
fitting the single folding
seat
and
the single
seats:
•
The
seats
must
always
be
properly engaged in the retainers
to
ensure that it cannot move if
the brakes are applied or the ve-
hicle is involved in an accident.
•
The
seats
must
always
be rein-
stalled in the correct direction
and position. This ensures that
the
seat
belt provided can
always
be properly used.
Please
ensure that you do not dam-
age or dirty any parts when remov-
ing
and installing the
seats.
For this reason, the
seats
or the
bench should
always
be removed or
installed by two people.
