What to do if my Volvo Penta Engine cranks but won't start?

If your Volvo Penta Engine cranks but refuses to start, the issue could be due to several reasons. First, check if there's fuel in the tank or if the gasoline shutoff valve is closed; fill the tank or open the valve, and inspect the fuel supply for water. Water in the fuel supply or old gasoline can also prevent starting; in this case, drain the fuel tank and flush it with fresh gasoline, and change the fuel filters. Also, make sure the emergency stop switch lanyard is reinstalled.
