Personnel requirements
Personnel shall be aware of the risks associated with being in or near
the risk area where loads are lifted. Personnel shall also have sufficient
instructions to be able to use the lifting tool in a safe way.
Authorization
It is the employer's and the management's responsibility to make sure
that persons only are authorized to handle the tools for which they
have received instructions or training. Only persons appointed by each
company are authorized to use the lifting tool.
