Attach the Diamondback to a tripod
For the steadiest views, mount the Diamondback on a sturdy tripod or car window mount.
The built-in tripod mount easily attaches to most tripods and quick-release plates.
The tripod foot attaches to any
tripod or car window mount that
uses 1/4 x 20 screw threads.
Adjust the viewing angle
The tripod mount collar allows you to rotate the spotting scope body for greater
viewing flexibility when mounting the
Diamondback on a tripod or car window
mount.
• Loosen the mounting collar by
turning the thumbscrew counter-
clockwise.
• Rotate the spotting scope body
to the viewing angle you prefer.
• Keep the spotting scope in
the preferred viewing position by
turning the thumbscrew clockwise
to secure the mounting collar.
