USB cable troubleshooting
Most issues with the USB cable stem from improper strain relief at the back of the
connector. Under situations where one is crashing in the sim, it is quite common
for the wheel to rotate to extremes very quickly, and if the USB cable is not able to
wind around the shaft correctly, this can put a sudden and large amount of stress
on this area:
In the case of this picture, the cable would lose connection for a split second when
the cable was subjected to certain stresses. The cable was likely damaged in a
crash situation, and would continue to manifest after that point when the strain
was in a certain direction.
