Note: Please leave your camera set to the default value unless
you are travelling. For most cases, the frequency of EU is set to
50 Hz and that of US is set to 60 Hz. If you still see ickering in the
preview screen, please try another setting.
(iii) Date & Time
This menu shows the current date and time. If you want to change
the date or time. Press the OK Button to enter the Set Date &
Time menu. The left and right icons will appear on the item
to adjust. Press the left or right buttons to change the value
and press the OK button to conrm. Press the left or right
buttons again to select and adjust other items and press the OK
button to start adjusting them. Move to the OK icon and press
the OK button when you have nished.
(iv) Language
This setting allows you to change the system language on the
camera. Press the left or right buttons to select a language,
then press the OK button to conrm.
(v) Parental Controls
Access these settings to either disable games or set a daily time
limit. By default there is no time limit set, you can choose a limit
of 15, 30, 60 or 90 minutes per day. Once a time limit is reached,
games will not be accessible until the following day. When games
are disabled, icons will appear in the Main Menu in a slightly
different conguration.
Tip: This feature is designed for parents of children who cannot
yet read, as access to the setting is granted by following simple,
on-screen instructions.
Note:
The time limit will reset if the date or time settings are changed.
Follow the instruction on-screen to enter the password screen.
The password is the answer of the shown question which will be
different every time when entering this setting. Press the Left
and Right Button to choose the correct answer and press the
OK button to conrm. If the password is correct, the Game Time
Limit Setting screen will appear. Press the Left and Right
Button to choose an option and press the OK button to conrm.
(vi) Factory Reset
Factory Reset will erase content stored in the internal memory and
reset all system settings to factory defaults. Press the OK button
and then follow the instructions to perform a factory reset.
