Why is my Vulcan-Hart VCH Convection Oven compartment not heating, but the blower motor is operating?

      Heather AdamsAug 18, 2025
If your Vulcan-Hart Convection Oven compartment isn't heating while the blower motor is running with the power switch ON, it could be due to a defective cooking temperature thermostat. Try setting the cooking thermostat to 250°F, wait a few minutes, and check the rear of the oven for heat. Both the power switch and cooking temperature indicator lights should be lit. If the oven cavity still doesn't heat, or it could be due to a defective holding temperature thermostat. Turn the holding temperature knob to 250°F and check for heat at the rear of the oven cavity. If the oven cavity does not heat, or there could be a defective high-limit thermostat or heating element.

      Mr. Frederick MooreAug 26, 2025
If the indicator lights are on but the cooling fan(s) aren't working in your Vulcan-Hart Convection Oven, it's normal when the unit is cold (below 150°F). If the unit is above 150°F, it may be caused by defective connection, wiring, fan, or thermostat.
