All supports must only be tighten by hand so that their position
can still be adjusted.

The basic set for Touareg - VAS 6131/6- consists of the sup‐
ports - VAS 6131/6-1- to -VAS 6131/6-7- . To make the fol‐
lowing procedure easier to understand, we designate them
here as support 1 (for VAS 6131/6-1) to support 7 (for VAS
6131/6-7).
– Place the scissor-type mounting platform in a horizontal posi‐
tion.
• Check spirit level (bubble gauge) on scissor-type mounting
platform.
– Position scissor-type mounting platform - VAS 6131 A- under
the vehicle.
