– Remove air filter element -arrow-.
Installing:
Note
♦
Always use Genuine part for air filter element.
♦
A clean air filter housing is essential.
♦
Secure all hose connections with hose clips corresponding to
the series equipment ⇒ ETKA (electronic parts catalogue) .
♦
When using compressed air to blow out the air filter housing,
observe the following: in order to avoid functional impairments,
cover the critical air-carrying components such as air pipes,
etc. with a clean cloth.
♦
Observe relevant disposal regulations.
– Remove salt residues, dirt and leaves from top and bottom part
of air filter housing using a vacuum cleaner.
– Blow out water drain -arrow- at bottom of air filter housing with
compressed air.
– Check air duct leading from lock carrier to air filter housing for
dirt and leaves.
– Insert air filter element -arrow-.
– Working carefully and without exerting great force, place air
filter upper part-1- on air filter lower part -2-.
Continue installation in reverse order of removal.
