The Vytronix VY-STG01 is a handheld steam cleaner designed for household use, providing a chemical-free cleaning solution through the power of steam.

Function Description

The device generates steam to clean various surfaces and items. It features a steam button for controlled steam release and a safety filler cap to prevent accidental opening while the boiler is under pressure. The steam cleaner is equipped with a range of accessories to tackle different cleaning tasks, including a concentration nozzle for focused cleaning, small brush and angled nozzles for scrubbing, and a garment/upholstery tool with a cloth for fabric care.

Usage Features

The steam cleaner is straightforward to operate. Before first use, users should unpack the product, check accessories, and read the user manual. To prepare for use, the steam cleaner should be placed on a level platform. The safety cap is then pushed down and unscrewed counterclockwise, and the filling funnel is installed. 175ml of clean water (up to a maximum recommended capacity of 250ml) is added to the tank using the measuring cup. It's crucial not to overfill the tank. After filling, the safety cap is re-installed and tightened.

Once the power supply is connected and turned on, the device takes approximately 4 minutes to heat up and produce steam. Users can lightly press the steam button to check for steam release, ensuring the nozzle is not aimed at people or objects. Once steam is ready, appropriate accessories can be installed by aligning them with the steam outlet and rotating them into position. The concentration nozzle, for instance, is attached by aligning an arrow on the nozzle with a single-line mark on the machine body, inserting, and rotating clockwise until the arrow aligns with a double-line mark. Small brush or angled nozzles can be directly pushed onto the steam outlet in one of six positions or attached to the concentration nozzle using the same rotary-locking method. The steam button is pressed to initiate cleaning operations.

For refilling water during operation, safety precautions must be followed. The power cord should be unplugged, and the steam button pressed to release all internal pressure until no steam is injected. The safety cap should then be slowly unscrewed (but not removed immediately) to allow residual steam to discharge. After about five minutes of cooling, the cap can be completely removed. Cold or hot water can then be refilled using the funnel and measuring cup, and the safety cap re-installed and tightened.

Maintenance Features

After each use, the machine requires simple maintenance to ensure longevity and safe operation. First, the power cord should be unplugged to disconnect the power supply. Similar to refilling, the steam button should be pressed to release all pressure until no steam is injected. The safety cap is then slowly unscrewed to allow residual steam to discharge, and the machine is left to cool for about five minutes before the cap is completely removed. Finally, any residual water in the tank should be emptied, and the external surface of the machine cleaned with a dry cloth. The safety cap is then re-installed and tightened.

• Do not direct liquid or steam towards equipment containing electrical components.

• Never overfill the tank, as this can affect steam generation or cause excessive steam pressure.
• The filling cap must not be opened during use or until the appliance is completely cool after disconnecting from power.
