4.7.3 4 POINT MOUNTING SYSTEM
Smaller tractors are not normally designed with
an appropriate 3 point hitch for mounting a back-
hoe. A specifi c kit is available that attaches to the
rear of the tractor and front of the backhoe that
allows for mounting. Contact your dealer or the
factory for the kit appropriate for your tractor
When mounting attaching frame, follow this
procedure:
1. Review instructions provided with the sub-
frame kit.
2. Clear the area of bystanders, especially
small children before starting.
3. Stop engine, set park brake, remove igni-
tion key and wait for all moving parts to
stop.
4. Lay out the frames that mount to the back
of the tractor and the front of the back-
hoe.
5. Mount the adapter frame to the back of the
tractor:
a. Position the frame against the back of
the tractor.
b. Secure with mounting bolts and tighten
to their specifi ed torque.
6. Mount the adapter frame to the back of the
backhoe:
a. Position the adapter frame against the
back of the backhoe frame.
b. Secure with mounting bolts and tighten
to their specifi ed torque.
