EWFS hand-held transmitter 1/8-channel
Help with malfunctions
Type of malfunction Possible cause Remedy
Transmission LED does not light Battery inserted with wrong polarity or de-
pleted
Insert batteries correctly, insert new bat-
teries
Transmission LED lights up, but move com-
mand is not carried out
Hand-held transmitter has not been trained
for the receiver
Learn the transmitter as described in the re-
ceiver instructions
At 8-channel hand-held transmitter: The in-
correct channel has been selected
Select the correct channel and then repeat
the move command
Interfering ambient influences Reduce the transmitter-receiver distance
Receiver is not supplied with line voltage Switch on the power supply
Switch commands are only carried out spo-
radically
Interference through external transmitter Deactivate external transmitter
(e.g. Babyphone)
Accumulators were inserted into the device Do not use storage batteries, but exclusive-
ly high-quality batteries of the type AAA,
IEC LR03, "Micro"
Distance between transmitter and receiver
is too great
Reduce the distance to the receiver
There are reinforced concrete covers or
walls located between the transmitter and
receiver
Reduce the distance to the receiver or
choose a different mounting position
