Twist counter-clockwise, pull up and discard the used MC-1 Filter.
Discard excess water from the system base.
Insert new AAA batteries into the system base.
Remove the black cap, align filter key holes, and twist clockwise to lock.
Press the RESET button for 5 seconds to begin the new filter countdown.
Run cold water through the system for 5 minutes.
Filter processes 1892 liters or operates 180 days, whichever comes first.
May require an optional hand pump if faucet water pressure is low.
Significant decrease in water production indicates a clogged filter.
Replace filter if system is unused more than 30 days due to stagnation.
Replacement filter model MC-1FX, designed for cold water use only.
