A key feature is its HydraSense™ technology, which includes a height-adjustable electrical sensor that automatically activates the pump when sufficient water is detected. The pump can operate independently or continuously when attended. It is fully submersible and designed to operate underwater. The pump is specifically intended for use with clear water and should not be used with gasoline or other explosive liquids, nor operated in environments with flammable or explosive fumes/gases. It is crucial not to run the pump dry for extended periods, as this can cause damage.

- The motor housing is completely sealed and requires no regular service. Do not disassemble the motor housing or alter the power cord, as this can result in serious injury.
- Ensure power connections and cables do not come into contact with water.
- The pump motor is in a fully enclosed, oil-filled compartment to aid in cooling during operation.
