SIDE DISCHARGE CHUTE (WER18HW4 ONLY)
NOTE : When using the side discharge function, you need to fit the mulch plug, prior to starting the machine.
1. Unlock and lift the side discharge cover.
2. Hook the side discharge chute onto the lawnmower, using the bar of the cover.
3. Release the side discharge cover to sit onto the chute.
The side discharge chute allows your cuttings to leave the deck to the side of the machine. This is usually
used when cutting heavy or tall grass, to enable the user to collect after cutting, using other means.
HEIGHT OF CUT
CAUTION
Adjust the cutting height only when the engine is switched off the spark plug cap has been pulled from the
spark plug.
To adjust the height of cut, the machine has been supplied with a single lever, located at the right rear wheel.
Adjusting the height of cut should only be undertaken when the engine is off, and the blade has come to a
complete standstill.
To adjust the height of cut, grab the height of cut lever and push it away from the gauge and then lift or lower
the lever to the required height of cut.
Moving the lever forward will higher the height of cut. Moving the lever back, will lower the height of cut.
Never attempt to cut long grass on the lowest cutting height. Always attempt to cut long grass at the higher
cutting heights and then pass over the lawn again, selecting a lower cutting height.
