PREPARATION FOR USE
This clock radio includes a battery backup system that will maintain the time and alarm settings during a
temporary power interruption. Insert two ‘AAA’ size batteries correctly by matching the polarity (+/-)
markings in the battery compartment (8). If you experience a power failure while batteries are installed,
the display will turn ‘off’ but the clock will continue to run and maintain your alarm settings. Please replace
all batteries at the same time with only new batteries.
Plug AC plug into 230vac electric outlet only.
ALARM CLOCK OPERATION
Note: The time and alarm times can only be set when the radio is turned off.
SETTING THE TIME
The digits will flash upon battery installation / connecting to ac power. The clock radio is ready to
set time. See instructions below to set time. Press and hold down “SET/PRE M+” button (7) for
approximately 3 seconds if you are resetting the clock and the digits will flash.
1. Press “HOUR TU -” button (2) repeatedly to change the ‘hour’ setting.
2. Press “MIN TU +” button (3) repeatedly to change the ‘minute’ setting.
3. Press “SET/PRE M+” button (7) to confirm at the time and the display will stop flashing.
SETTING THE ALARM TIME
This clock radio has dual alarms that can be set and used independently. The procedure to set both alarms
is the same. Both alarms can either sound the buzzer or wake up to radio.
Press “AL1 VOL -“ button (5) for viewing alarm time 1 with buzzer. Press “AL1 VOL -“ button (5) again for
viewing alarm time 1 with radio. Press “AL1 VOL -“ button (5) again back to current time.
Above instructions are for viewing alarm time 1. To view alarm time 2, follow the above instructions
and use “AL2 VOL +” button (6) instead of “AL1 VOL -“ button (5).
